 Natalia B. - Lead intern

Natalia is currently a senior at Gaither High School. She is a part of a NHS, Beta club, and she is the President of her school’s Key Club for the last two years. This will be her fourth year as a Bags of Hope Intern and she can’t wait to see what we accomplish this year! Natalia acts as the Lead intern for Bags of Hope providiing guidance, enthusiasm and organization to the team! She has a work ethic like no other to make a difference in the lives of others. Natalia is a also an esteemed 2024 Anne Frank Humanitarian Award Winner!




Sickles HS, Junior


Gladyanne is currently a Junior at Sickles High School. She is involved in various clubs such as NHS, Beta, Key, and the Math and Science Honor Societies. Outside of school, she has played travel volleyball for 10 years and has been on the Sickles Varsity team since my freshman year. She loves going to the beach and spending time with friends. She is always very involved in the events of Bags of Hope and help lead this years 4th annual Key to Hope this year hosting 145 students who made over 2,500 toiletry bags for the community.

Blake HS, Sophomore

Ada Bradford is in her first year at Bags of Hope and is a Sophomore at Blake High School of The Arts. She is the Lieutenant Governor of Division 14B of Florida Key Club, heavily involved in Chorus, and loves to find ways to serve her community. In her free time, she likes to walk, do pilates, spend time with her friends, and journal.

 

Tampa Catholic HS, Sophomore

Alex W.

Alex is a sophomore at Tampa Catholic High School. He is an honor student, Varsity football player, Varsity Track team member and Justin Vertino scholarship recipient for his work in the classroom, community and on the sports field. He enjoys hanging out with his family and friends, loves ALL college sports especially football, basketball and baseball. He has never met a PDQ chicken tender he didn’t like. The beach is his favorite summer vacation and giving back to the community is very important to him.

In 2018, his sister Karina was a junior at Tampa Catholic High School and co-founded Bags Of Hope with her two best friends Alyssa and Genna. He looks forward to carrying on the legacy of his sister and helping those who are in need of basic toiletry items. #LJIOHF

Gatiher HS, Senior

Mailyn is currently in her senior year at Gaither High School. She is involved in many clubs at her school including NHS, BETA, Key Club. Serving others has been an important action she's strived to take as she grew up, and serves as a youth Young Women's leader, in her church. Outside of school she enjoys participating in playing pickle ball and tennis with friends, knitting, and spending time with family! She is very excited to participate as a more active member in the Tampa community by helping others one bag at a time!

Olivia is a senior at Gaither High School. She is active in several clubs and serves as the treasurer of her schools Key Club and UNICEF club, as well as a member of NHS. I also volunteer at Tampa General Hospital and help with the patients. This is her first year as a Bags of Hope intern and she has made an amazing impact on her community. Knowing I helped with that process puts everything in a different light.

Melissa C.

Melissa is a senior year at Gaither High School. She has been volunteering at Bags of Hope and other organizations since her freshman year but this is her first year as a Bags of Hope. Melissa is the president of BETA club. She also volunteers at Moffit Cancer Center and Advent Health in her free time. Melissa is also an intern at the Tampa Bay Crisis Center and feel fulfilled whenever I help my community. She is excited to be a part of Bags of Hope this year.

ericka H.

Ericka is a senior at Gaither High school, where she is involved in many different clubs such as NHS, BETA Club, FCCLA, and NTHS. Ericka loves to hang out with her friends and family and help her community as well. She volunteers at Advent Health and Clearwater Marine Aquarium in her free time. She is excited to be a Bags of Hope intern this year and help those in need.
